About the Photo

Built in 1911 on the north side of the first block of West Main Street, just west of the railroad tracks, this building housed a grocery business that served the local community. The store sold groceries, feed, seed, and other goods. The owner also operated a second store on the south side of East Main Street.

More than a century later, the historic building was given new life. In 2014, it was completed as the Inn at the Crossroads, with its grand opening and dedication held in connection with ArtFields 2015.
